OUR STORY
Black Barn Farm started in November 2021 as our way to slow down and reconnect after years of busy city life in California. We found our roots in Southern Oregon, surrounded by fertile soil, fresh air, and a welcoming community.
What began with rows of lettuce, onions, and garlic soon grew into a passion for good food and honest ingredients.
FARMER'S MARKETS
Our first step into the community was through local farmers markets. We sold home-grown produce, fruit jams, and small-batch sauces. Before long, people were asking for ready-to-eat meals, so we started serving burgers and sandwiches made with local ingredients.
That’s when we realized, we weren’t just growing food anymore, we were building connections through it.
THE FOOD TRUCK
The next step was a food truck partnership with a local bakery. Together, we offered farm-fresh burgers, sandwiches, and baked goods at community events across Southern Oregon.
It gave us the chance to meet new people and share our food wherever the road took us.
THE restaurant
In 2024, we partnered with Rogue Ales & Spirits to take over the restaurant at the historic Bigham Knoll Schoolhouse in Jacksonville.
By December, Black Barn Kitchen was born. A full-service restaurant serving locally inspired dishes in one of Southern Oregon’s most beautiful settings.
THE deli
By May 2025, we launched the Black Barn Deli, offering crafted sandwiches, salads, sides, and desserts.
It’s a place for locals and visitors alike to grab something fresh, simple, and satisfying.
ROOTED IN SOUTHERN OREGON
From farm to markets, food truck, restaurant, and now deli, our journey has always been about good food, good people, and local roots.
We’re proud to be family-owned, community-driven, and inspired every day by the beauty of Southern Oregon.
At Black Barn Farm, good food starts from the ground up.
